Agencies Encouraged to Enable Job Analysis

Currently the first-and-only federal Job Analysis technology available, MonsterGov is thrilled to offer agencies a job analysis assessment integration with Monster Hiring Management, allowing agencies to streamline the process of determining tasks and competencies, identifying the appropriate assessment questions, and pulling those into the application process. Influenced in part by results of the 2023 Job Analysis User Group, the Job Analysis module is available to MHME federal agencies for free, as part of their talent acquisition system. MonsterGov federal clients can join us for a preview of release 4.19 to see the latest on Job Analysis. For any agencies ready to enable their complimentary Job Analysis module, please reach out to your MonsterGov representative.

We’ll cover new usability features for Selecting Official, additional support for Position Classification, updates to Vacancy Builder in support of USAJOBS, and our new integration of Job Analysis assessment questions with the applicant tracking system. For reference, some of the enhancements within 4.19 are related to agency feedback from both the 2023 Job Analysis User Group and 2023 MHME User Group.

New Personnel Vetting Search Portal on USAJOBS

USAJOBS launched a new search portal for job seekers interested in personnel vetting for the federal workforce. Agencies can begin tagging relevant announcements using a custom “Personnel Vetting” Mission Critical Occupation (MCO) tag in their MHME system, which can be setup by your agency’s system administrator. Check out our resources below for a refresher on USAJOBS portals and MCO tags.
