The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC) convened a bipartisan roundtable focused on modernizing the federal workforce and identifying reforms to help agencies recruit, retain, and manage the talent needed to meet their missions.
Melissa Wojciak, ApplyGov VP of Government Relations and Shared Services Leadership Coalition (SSLC) Board Member, participated as a panelist, bringing an industry and shared services perspective to the discussion. She highlighted opportunities to modernize outdated federal HR practices, strengthen accountability, and enable OPM to focus on its core role of government-wide workforce policy, standards, and oversight.
